4 Digit Dialing for internal faxing no longer supported.

Our new systems requires that you input a 5 in front of the extension.  This should allow the fax to be properly routed to the correct destination.

The example below illustrates the new dialing rules for internal faxes.

Fax Extension:  1234      NEW Correct Internal fax number: 51234

Fax Extension: 9999       NEW Correct Internal fax number: 59999 

Dialing an outside fax number

The example below illustrates the dialing rules for faxing to an outside fax machine.

Fax number: 555-1234      Correctly dialed fax number:     95551234

Dialing a long distance fax number

The example below illustrates the dialing rules for faxing to a fax machine that is long distance.  In this example the area code is 777.

Fax number: (777) 555-1234      Correctly dialed fax number:     917775551234

Dialing a toll free fax number

The example below illustrates the dialing rules for faxing to a fax machine that is a toll free number.  In this example the tool number requires that you use 888.
